A description of the symbolic elements in the Guild crest

Guild Crest
The Guild crest consists of symbolic elements that illustrate the history and craftsmanship of violet wand mastery.
At the top there is the Serbian Crest. This symbolizes the contributions of Nikola Tesla, whose early electrical inventions made violet wand technology possible.
At the bottom there is the electrician's symbol for Earth, or Ground. This has several levels of meanings, signifying on the face the need for understanding basic electrical principles to keep safe, the need to ground oneself firmly in all of life, and that knowledge requires a firm foundation. Lesser obvious meanings are that, combined with the 'top' Royal Crest symbol, where this symbol is the 'bottom' symbol as a foundation, it creates an esoteric meaning that draws itself from BDSM, and symbolizes the flow of energy from 'top' to 'bottom' just as electrical energy always seeks to travel to ground.
On either side of the guild crest are two sheaves of grain. These are sheaves of rice in acknowledgement to the first well-known large-scale marketer of wands for BDSM purposes, Mr. Donnie Rice. Before his death, his contributions to understanding and use of violet wands were significant. The sheaves' esoteric meaning is that, being grain, they also signify the staff of life in the same way that energy (electrical, self, BDSM, etc.) is life-giving and affirming, fulfilling and sustaining.
In the center is the BDSM symbol, developed by Quagmyre, and signifying the BD-DS-SM triad (shortened in acronym to BDSM) among many other of its inherent meanings. It retains all its levels of symbolism herein. This symbol has been shot through with a lightning bolt to acknowledge the electrical fetishist demographic of BD-DS-SM, as well as to give meaning to the idea that knowledge and learning and expansion is not static, but must continually be fed and re-energized for growth and mastery.
The twisted circlet that surrounds the whole not only directly brings to it all the meanings of 'O', but illustrates the cycles of learning and teaching, give and take. It reminds us of a completed electrical circuit, and the progression of life cycles. It is textured and not smooth because of the textured fabric of life, and its twisting not only signifies the graphic action of attaching wires together, but of binding together any two other individual materials to make one. The circlet begins and ends at, or with, the 'top'.
The entire color of the crest is of gold, which signifies achieving the highest level of Mastery in an art form, without blemish. As the purest of metals, Gold is among the most electrically conductive of all metals. Gold is able to convey even a tiny electrical current in temperatures varying from -55° to +200° centigrade, making gold a vital component for communications. Gold will not tarnish, rust or corrode, and is the most non-reactive of all metals. Gold is also the most reflective of all metals; and in the reflections of ourselves through others we find the most mastery.
