How to submit an article on the site: You'll need to make a couple of notes before you hit the link below to write your article. You'll need to have the following ready to submit your article. You must be a full member with 500 points or more before you can submit an article. Title: Prepare the Title of your Article. Article Body: Double check your work. REMEMBER, there is a time out for your session. So it is always BEST to write your article in Word and then PASTE it into the site form where you can pretty it up. Section: All regular registered members will choose the section: MEMBER ARTICLES. If your article is more pertinent to another section, it will be moved when its published. We'll only be searching in Member Articles for new articles to approve, so if you post to a different category, it unfortunately won't be found. Skip the next few fields, you don't have to worry about them. The drop down boxes do not work correctly. Left click on them and while holding the button down, use your up and down arrow keys to select. When the selection is made, hit your enter key and then it should be selected. Access Level: choose REGISTERED. This is what all fields should look like before you submit:
Metadata: You dont have to worry about metadata and keywords, but these will help members find your article in searching for information. If you know how to add metadata, you are welcome to do so. If you're unsure, just leave it alone. Keywords: enter a few keywords relevant to your article. Every article is relevant to the violet wand, so don't use those as keywords. Instead, use keywords like 'safety, injury, indirect, vendor, electrode, troubleshooting, electrical cord' etc. Ready? Use the 'submit an article link' on your user menu. Once you submit your article, it will remain in the 'Member Articles' Section till approved for publication. PS Don't use the comment section below to write an article.
Only registered users can write comments!
